Crust has a density of 2.2 - 2.9 g/cm³ while core has a density of  9.9 - 12.2 g/cm³ for its outer and 12.8 - 13.1 g/cm³ for its inner.

Therefore if the same amount of a piece of crust is compared to a piece of core, the core would be more heavier since it has more density than the crust.
