it might be difficult to read if there are large vocabulary words that I do not understand so I would have to read and use context clues or look up the definition of the word. it also may be hard to read because of complex sentences. The complex sentences do exactly what it sounds like they should do, make the sentence complex. with these I will have to read the sentence over a couple times to fully comprehend it. the stratigies I now use are reading over the article or passage once to get the main idea and then i will look up any words after and then I will go through and re read the challanging areas that way I don't take too much time and i still fully comprehend the article or passage.
