In Cybersecurity, there are three different types of security control and these include the following:

  • Management security.
  • Physical security.
  • Operational security.

In this context, we can infer and logically deduce that the use of encryption, firewalls, biometric fingerprint readers, endpoint security, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to protect an information system (IS) are operational security.
