Civil engineers and astronauts are very different. Civil engineers are responsible for the design and construction of structures, especially bridges, roads and pipes etc.
Astronomers on the other hand, they are travellers or pilots for spacecrafts.
Do what you think is best for yourself, make a list of pros and cons. I know many civil engineers who love what they do and I'm sure that astronomers feel the same.
