Program for Threat Awareness and Reporting (TARP) Insider threats are made aware to the military community by the U.S.
Army Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP). Any information about known or suspected international terrorism, information system intrusions, theft or illegal diversion of military technology, sabotage, subversion, or known or suspected espionage must be reported by Department of the Army personnel to counterintelligence. The training will last around one hour and cover the TARP requirements of insider threat indicators, terrorism, subversion, and espionage. Threat Awareness and Reporting Program Training Requirement (TARP) Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) training is required for all DA staff annually, according to Army Regulation 381-12. Its main goals are to increase joint force preparedness and effectiveness by helping to advance doctrine, planning, operations, training, equipment, leadership and education, staffing, infrastructure, and policy (DOTMLPF-P).
