Mrs. Hale is one of the characters in the story “A Jury of Her Peers.” Her conversations with Mrs. Peters help the reader develop a picture of Minnie Foster as a woman after her marriage. Mrs. Hale's decision to hide the dead bird shows her toward womankind.
